If you choose a new SunSplash bed equipped with the new SolaraTM reflector lamps with built-in reflector technology, you will have unparalleled tanning power in your new tanning bed. These new bulbs generate up to 50% more tanning power, which means a tanner may get the same tanning power in a SunSplash 16 lamp bed with the new SolaraTM reflector lamps that they could get in a 24 lamp bed without reflector lamps.
The new SolaraTM lamps feature an inner reflective coating stretching from end to end which forces the UV light to travel on a straight path directly to your skin’s surface during the tanning session. In a regular non-reflective lamp, the UV light bounces off all surfaces within the bed, which means the ultraviolet light is losing power before reaching your skin.
SolaraTM Facial and Duet lamps utilize dual phosphorous technology, increasing the amount of UV light produced by the Face & Arm Tanning System by an additional 20% -- boosting the tanning power in these target areas by as much as 70%!
